Brendan Clarke-Smith, Conservative MP for Bassetlaw, made headlines in the Free School Meals debate in October by saying that those who wanted to feed kids were "virtue signalling on twitter." Fast forward to March and he is currently very upset because someone on the BBC made a joke about flags. I'm glad to see he's focussing on the real issues. I consider myself to be patriotic and I'm perfectly happy with politicians using the Union flag, but it takes a special kind of melt to piss the bed when someone makes a joke about it, whilst running round claiming that other people are the snowflakes. The 2019 Tory intake really is full of muppets...
