“ The quartet of Kayden Jackson, Toto Nsiala, Gwion Edwards and Janoi Donacien cost Ipswich Town a combined £4million when signed by Paul Hurst in the summer of 2018. Three years later, their deals are up. ”

Absolute state of that criminal spending spree.

Cook needs to be absolutely ruthless with that list. Of the senior players I’d be surprised if more than a handful were here next season.

I'm not sure if I can renew. I need to see many of these contracts ripped up before I can go again

Yet that cost is now gone.....so Evans needs to support Cook in getting rid if that’s what he - Cook wants, rather than taking up options in the hope of recouping something back, but leaving Cook with players he doesn’t want.

Cook needs fully supporting, likewise if he wants a new keeper despite having 2 under contract, then Evans should support that.
