I think your last line should be: "is there anything in the world as predictably unpredictable as a Pakistan cricket side?"

Mahmood set the tone early on and, despite a 50 partnership for the 5th wicket, Pakistan never recovered. At least they made a score worth batting against.

Really good opportunity for some of these players anyway.
