One of the things I find most impressive about Cook is his knowledge of players at this level.

Saying he's been monitoring Edmundson since he was on loan at AFC Flyde shows how deep his knowledge is of players at this level, which honestly I never thought was the case with Lambert. And it seems like he's really able to sell his vision to his players, they all seem ready to run through brick walls for him.

Here's hoping now he's getting the players he wants, he can get them firing on all cylinders as quickly as possible!

He really is football obsessed. You can sometimes struggle to have a conversation with him on any other subject. He just wants to bring it back to football
