but I reckon PC sees him primarily as a wideman and back up striker.
I think really Pigott, Norwood and Bonne are the only out and out strikers we have.
Most of our others, Burns, Chaplin, Dobra, Barry, Jacobs and even Jackson I think he sees as wide forwards first and strikers second. That's not to say they can't play through th the middle, but PC loves pace and creativity down the flanks and that's what they give you.
And then if you look at it like that he's got 3 main players for the central role(s) and 3/4 for each wing. And you could argue that if wants wide men flying up and down like nutters every game for 90 mins that's where he'll need the most cover. |  |
