2 years ago youngest male offspring wandered off to Uni in Bristol, catered student halls, but got homesick and dropped out in December.
This year he's decided to give it another go, but doesn't really have the contacts or experience to get the accommodation he'd have had if he'd completed the academic year 19/20. Which would have been curtailed and he possibly still wouldn't have gained th is contacts or gained that experience.
Anyone got a room to rent up to 1 hour's walk/bus ride from main campus?
He visited a place yesterday which has requirements he / we could not comply with - guarantor has to be homeowner under 70. I'm not a homeowner, and the only family member who is, my father, is 81.
So thought nothing to lose by throwing it out to TWTD community.
He doesn't smoke or drink (in fact only drinks water)
Likes music from Chopin to Gojira (but otherwise doesn't like loud noises... Have you heard Gojira?), Plays piano and electric guitar
He's not interested in football (sigh)
On autistic spectrum but mainly his mum that sets him off, other than her nagging he's generally easy going. But does dip into the "f word" when frustrated.
He walks well over 10,000 steps a day
He's read Ulysses, War and Peace, and various other "classics" that I probably wouldn't have the patience to read.
