It's still all too familiar 18:57 - Sep 25 with 230 viewshomer_123

A good start...should have been 1 up inside 5. For the 20 mins we looked very comfortable and decent.

Some nice interplay and movement off the ball. Didn't really let Wednesday into it.

However...as we have seen time and again....we couldn't really keep in control and slowly but surely we allowed Wednesday into the game and started to struggle.

A poor defensive header allowed them to take the lead against the run of play. We did create some chances and to be fair V didn't really have a whole lot to do.

Our second half performance was very poor in my opinion. Far to much football played at the back and frankly how we were not punished is beyond me. We began to look bereft of ideas of how to break Wednesday down and when we did get into good positions out wide our delivery was poor...also we didn't exactly fill the box....on three occasions I counted 2 Town players looking to get on a cross against 4 defenders...no midfielders arriving late or busting a gut to get there.

We played some decent football at times....a number of really good cutting passes and we did create opportunities but we're wasteful to be honest. Still no plan B and I'm still not sure exactly what Cook wants. It also does feel we are shoehorning some players into roles that are not for them....Fraser?

2 points dropped at home....Wednesday we're not great and we were lucky to grab a point in the end.

Progression? I'm not sure...felt and looked very similar to what we've seen so far this season already.

Who knows how different today might have been had Bonne slotted that first chance away.

Ade Akinbiyi couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo...
Poll: As things stand, how confident are you we will get promoted this season?
