One thing that makes me laugh is that Paul Cook has said on numerous occasions now, something along the lines of, "we are looking a better team now, and that's what time on the training ground does." The reason it makes me laugh is because when we had a full two weeks on the training ground, we got spanked 2-5 at home with a team that looked like a bunch of strangers 
Hopefully now we are actually putting that time in training to good effect, and we can really kick on from here

He means cumulative time on the training ground leads to improvements, not any one or two specific weeks in isolation. |  |

During those two weeks on the training ground Paul Cooks father died. I don't know if you have ever lost a close relative, I have.It will greatly effect your ability too work.. [Post edited 29 Sep 2021 15:52]
