The deep lying midfield positions… 18:15 - Oct 2 with 332 viewsthebooks

How many players has Cook tried here over two seasons? I thought Harper looked great in the first couple of games, Carroll did OK and Morsy was briliant against Doncaster.

Yet we’re still shuffling the pack and producing performances where our main problem is our inability to shift the ball from the back to the front four with any purpose.

Is this a tactical problem? Have teams figured out how to deal with 4-2-3-1?
