And thats not helping anything. So many balls were tried today that didn't come off by fractions. Those find their targets and we're running away with it by half time.
At the moment, the players can't win, and the fans are beginning to turn. They keep possession and play simple balls backwards or sideways, there are groans, the ball gets played forward on a riskier pass and *just* gets cut out, there are groans. The biggest signifier of the fans having lost the plot is hearing "Shoooooooooot" when Morsy has the ball 25 yards out with a gap opening up. Morsy has shown me nothing to make me think he should ever shoot from that far out.
An awful 2nd half, and Cooks continued inflexibility hasn't helped the confidence either on the pitch or in the stands, we need a few convincing back to back wins and the mood on this board or in the ground is just not going to help that along. |  |
