I know now may not be the time to do it but I really really struggle with Morsy as club captain and to me someone like Edmundson is so much more suited to the role.
Not only has Morsy long given the impression that he does not really want to be here/ he was only here because of Cook and doesn't really care about the club, his performances have long been below par.
By contrast, Edmundson has arguably been our best player this season, actually seems to enjoy being here and on the pitch is clearly a leader. |  | | |  |

Whilst I agree, Morsy has looked a shadow of the player I saw in his first few outings, my biggest concern is Morsy will be on substantial amount of money contracted to 2024.
