After the reaction at the Valley and on here, it is obvious the wheels are well and truly off for the fans. Whilst I thought that the interim approach with McGreal was a good one at first, it is clear those players need a boss that they have to impress. It doesn't mean we should take any manager going, it has to be a good appointment to fix this spiral, but the longer we go without a clear cut manager at the helm, the worse its going to get. I know Ashton said the head coach approach is most likely, but I fundamentally disagree. We need a solid manager, with experience and the power to make tough decisions. I know many want Warnock, but I can't see that myself. We want someone with edge, not a sledgehammer. | |
