Good morning. I watched this last night, it's a documentary from 1982 about the World Service and I thought as a fellow radio fan you may find it interesting if you find the time
I have listened to the World Service for as long as I can remember, and these days I listen to it far more than any other news outlook having got rather sick of UK coverage of UK news.

Like DJR, it's my no.1 preferred source of news - very objective, and refreshingly covers the globe more widely (as you'd expect I guess) than focussing primarily on Blighty as other UK news channels do.
