Closing out the game 11:24 - Jan 23 with 791 viewsHong_Kong_Bluey

I just realised that during those last 10 minutes or so, I never felt nervous that we were about to concede. I also didn't get the impression that the crowd were tense either, like the way it usually feels when we're one goal up,. Although that's hard to tell on iFollow.

It seems like we actually had a plan as to how to close out the game, and were in complete control.

Add to that the fact we didn't look even remotely bullied by a big (size) team, plus a win after going behind, that was a fantastic result and performance in just Mckenna's 4th match.

Something's brewing down at Portman Road, and it smells exciting.

I was nervous as hell when they got a free kick on the edge of the box with a couple of minutes left on the clock.

I agree on the free kick. Walton wasn’t stopping that had it been just inside the post rather than outside. Think he must have been slightly unsighted as he reacted too slow to stop it, it was past him before he got across.
