Climate change: UK plants now flowering a month earlier 09:28 - Feb 2 with 304 viewsNthQldITFC

Just a reminder that though our lives have been dominated by Covid for two years, and now political turmoil and cost of living, that there is a much bigger issue than all of this put together facing us and our children, now and in the not too distant future.

Not intending to be negative or frighten people, but a reminder to do what you can to cut down on your own impact at the very least. On a worldwide scale the sorts of shifts discussed in this article could, quite apart from their impact on the rest of nature, cause catastrophic failures of fragile food supply systems on a global level.

It might not be too late, but we would have to actually do something now, and stop pretending the problem doesn't exist, will go away on its own, or be miraculously solved by technology.
