Not quite, it's likely that German energy firms will pay into a Euro account at Gazprombank who will then convert those payments into Roubles. The key question then is which party takes the Fx risk on the transaction. That part is still, and will probably remain, unclear.

Gazprom seem to be feeling the heat a little if the reports of their vice chairman (or some senior exec) fleeing to Ukraine are correct.
