Humphreys was busy, gets stuck in, has energy and I think / hope has a role to play from the bench at the very least. Harper... about as far from 'the beast' as can be imagined from what I saw; I'd level the same critique at him, Ndaba and Burgess tonight - maybe they were under strict instructions as to what to do, but everything was safe, slightly lethargic and rarely seemed to be yearning for the forward incisive pass - it was a friendly, against Southend... if not a time for risk taking and vision then when? Harper tried a bit more than the other two, but all a bit disappointing. Very early, so not ruling anyone out, but we shall see. |  |
