What a great watch that was. I know there are a lot of cricket fans on here, I’d suggest a visit to BBC IPlayer over the next couple of days to catch up. It’s a must for all cricket enthusiasts.

Look at their squads and then compare ours
at 10:14 23 Jul 2020
Appreciate they will lose some of their players, but when you look at Hull City, Wigan and Charlton now you can argue all three of those sides have squads that are far superior to ours from last season and they all amassed points totals in the mid to high 40s, not a paltry 31 and well adrift of safety. So once again, why did we feel that our squad was too good for L1? I think Joe, posted a thread about our current squad positionally, it highlighted that we have areas of the pitch that lacks: experience, proven quality and depth. It will be even harder this coming season too.

He’s done an incredible job since his return, Luton look like they’re going to avoid the drop.
What to set the WI?

If you were Root, what should we set WI or do we bat a certain amount of overs and then put them in? I’d be tempted to change the batting line up to score runs quickly.

Whose winning the first test today in the cricket?
at 09:26 12 Jul 2020
It has been a really good contest with the WI and a very tight affair. It seemed like the wicket was getting more tricky to bat on yesterday the longer the day went on, providing the bowlers put the ball in the right place. England won't be batting long this morning, I reckon we'll set them 180 to chase down, but that might prove just enough. It's certainly won't be an easy run chase for the boys from the Caribbean. England to win by 25 runs.

The Championship is getting interesting
at 14:31 27 Jun 2020
Some intriguing results so far today. Charlton and Luton are both winning and Cardiff now in the top 6, beating Preston at Deepdale. Derby quietly closing the gap too. Appears both ends of the table are going to the final game to sort out placings. There are some big sides that are staring nervously at that relegation trapdoor to L1. For all it's financial faults, it is the most interesting division IMO.

Never seen the game from start to finish, just the key highlights, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Thought Geoff Hurst’s input was insightful and added to the whole experience. Even though it was 54 years ago, it still makes you proud.
