Songs that immediately take you back to your youth...

A complete rip-off from Trevor Nelson’s show a segment known as ‘Musical Youth’, but what is that special track which makes you start reminiscing?

Will there be money made available for new signings?
at 09:40 27 Mar 2020

Whatever happens regarding the outcome of professional football for this season, we're no doubt going to lose players inevitably whether that's through necessity, natural wastage or that our promising players are poached by better sides. However, will ME make funds available to strengthen and improve the squad? It needs a couple of shrewd signings in key areas to make us a real threat IMO and that will require investment. I doubt anyone outside the medical world was expecting this level of impact.

So going forwards....
at 16:02 26 Mar 2020

If the L1 season is declared null and void, what does PL need to do for next season to make us serious contenders? The angst we had a couple of weeks back has subsided (well for me it has) and I really can't see ME getting rid of PL now especially how the Coronavirus has impacted on the financial side of the game. So it appears we're stuck with him. Would PL have learnt from his mistakes?

Will football learn from this?
at 11:27 26 Mar 2020

I appreciate the present situation is a unique one, but with many clubs struggling financially will football as a whole reassess the financial side of the game? Something needs to be done because the money is just ridiculous especially at the top end, but it has a knock-on effect lower down the leagues. I just wonder if club owners are now considering that they need to manage finances differently in going forwards?

Good Morning Britain and Piers Morgan
at 07:29 17 Mar 2020

Is it just me or is it an utter shambles of a show? Any slight drama that programme goes into overdrive and scaremongers. Then you have Piers Morgan, a real joke of a presenter, not allowing any guests to talk as he has his own thoughts and they must come out at that very moment. Is it any wonder why no guests of significance want to go on that show? Just madness! I appreciate they have a right to report, but they have a responsibility to be balanced, not just incessant ranting by the host. Surely, the best presenters are those that remain calm and measured during these circumstances instead of instigating panic amongst their viewers? Felt quite sorry for Dr Hilary Jones, 'attempting' to give his professional view but in vain as Morgan knows best.

Thankfully, it made me turn over to the BBC.

Many footballing experts suggesting this could be a real possibility.

Are we going to see some lower league clubs go bust?
at 09:31 14 Mar 2020

With games potentially not returning for sometime, will we see some clubs in the EFL go to the wall by the time it all restarts again? There are so many clubs that are surviving on the breadline, this pandemic might see the end of them.

How is the season going to conclude with the Coronavirus looming?
at 12:48 11 Mar 2020

Really interesting to see how this plays out. Financially, I think there's too much at stake in the game to say finish the season now. If you are WBA or Leeds United being so close to the promised land with all it's riches and getting that snatched away, I can't see how either club would accept it, they can't be compensated. Also, from our point of view it would be typically our luck if Norwich escape relegation due to some rule change. How would lower league clubs survive not getting the income from attended games by cancelling the last couple of months of the season? Just really intrigued what league officials will do. There really is a lot to consider with the possible implications.

We all know PL loves German football...
at 20:34 10 Mar 2020

Hope he’s noting how RB Leipzig pass the ball quickly and the movement of their players. When they break, they break with real pace and purpose. Not plodding along at one speed like our players and mainly passing the ball at pedestrian tempo in a sideways or backwards direction. Appreciate their standard is much superior, but it’s all relative.

We shouldn’t expect PL to walk away.
at 07:24 8 Mar 2020

As fans we’re hoping PL will do the decent thing and resign, but why should he apart from the moral concept that he is failing? Surely, if he walks he’ll miss out on monies owed? In our own jobs, we wouldn’t do it for that same reason. ME is the issue, he just won’t pull the trigger as it’s going to cost him and that’s the bottomline. If there are clauses in PL’s contract related to performance that’s great, but anyone who has an ounce of footballing intelligence recognises we’ve got no chance of making the play offs especially with the form we are currently showing, so why wait? Pull the trigger and let’s start the rebuild for next season now. Instead, we have to let things drift along, going through the motions while our owner and manager are involved in their own Mexican stand off.

Certainly time for a change...
at 22:13 3 Mar 2020

PL needs to go, his time is up. However, those players are a total disgrace to the club. They showed you what they are all about with a gutless display in a ‘must win’ game. Those who keep defending them need to have a look at themselves as they have made mugs of your blind faith in them. Is it any wonder why we are sliding down the league when we have players that have no pride or passion for the shirt? Joey Barton was right all along about us as a team and they couldn’t even be bothered to prove him wrong. We need a huge clear out just on attitude and mentality alone, until that happens we’ll continue to be mediocre and accept failure.

he's got to be one of the poorer ones in the history of the game. He keeps his nose out of team affairs, but by Christ how can someone keep getting it so wrong for such a long period of time? Time and again wrong decision, after wrong decision. Just woeful.
