I saw Serena play at Wimbledon when I was still in high school, I’m guessing around 2000, two years before Raducanu was born. Then I saw Raducanu’s QF last year in New York.

The fact they are playing each other tomorrow professionally just blows my mind (in a I remember watching Tom Brady before I was legally old enough to drink kind of way).

I saw Serena in Melbourne Aus Open 2001. She was a star then.

Radacanu's 2021 US Open was a (v.1) Boris Becker moment - those skills will come through if she can deal with the expectation. Very few can - Henman, Cash, etc etc.
