A coin I presume? Absolutely disgraceful, and a heavy fine coming surely. That could seriously injure a player ...but also it's going to unnerve them for a bit, which you want happening least of all to your keeper. All credit to Walton, on the outside at least it didn't seem to affect him.

There weren't a huge amount of fans behind that goal so I hope CCTV can spot the culprit and he gets not just a football ban but a criminal conviction.

Still far too many of these incidents. Would be interesting if a player took the geezer to court for damages. Might make losers like that think again.... if they had been given the family brain cell that day.

It didn't seem like the stewards/police were interested.

The item was passed to the 4th official (and he passed it to the head steward) but no stadium security or police went to the location. In face the two stewards sitting in front of the stand didn't even get up from their seats...
