A hugely frustrating afternoon 17:01 - Dec 17 with 562 viewsRadlett_blue

town controlled most of the game, but when Wycombe scored out of the blue, you knew it was going to be a difficult second half. We stayed patient for the most part, but either ball into the box was poor or our strikers weren't good enough, although we still only made one clear chance in the game. Subs were generally good, Aluko made a difference (but as usual, no end product as he drops deep) . Morsy, who'd been our best player, faded in the last 20 minutes. Not a game to throw the toys out of the pram over, but I think we need a baetter striker than Ahadme.

We struggle when teams park the bus and defend their box well

Wycombe are an experienced side and showed a lot of steel to see that out, a very frustrating afternoon

I must admit, I had a funny feeling about today. They'll do that to a few sides this season.

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

On the face of it, losing at Wycombe away in sub-zero temperatures is one of the most predictable results of the season tbh.

It was always going to be difficult once they got their goal.
