Miss a guilt edge opportunity to take the lead and the get undone by the opposition. Only one team in it second half and had we gone on to win it, we probably deserved it but ruddy hell that spell after going one down was car crash wasn't it? Bit of arguing and, for the first time that I can remember under KM, players did not want the ball - they were offloading left right and centre. At the back, we were at sixes and sevens and the gap between the midfield and the forward players was simply too big. We got what we deserved after not converting the penalty. However, after Broady's free kick, we came alive and from there on in, I really thought there was only one team in it. Wednesday looked rattled. We looked the team most likely to win it second half and we were excellent, much more solid defensively and more of a threat going forward. In isolation, it was an excellent game of football to watch, had everything and coming back from two down was great to see, especially after that first half. But in the wider context of the season it's a gut wrenching result and, for me, sums up the season so far. It's not over, so that second half performance needs to be the lowest bar we aim for now going forward. [Post edited 11 Feb 2023 21:18]
