Thought Clarke was good today..... on 18:10 - Feb 18 with 721 views | clive_baker | Seems to have all the ingredients, he’s certainly athletic, decent in the air, good with his feet, good engine. As you say he played a few really incisive balls forward to Burns & Jackson, good weight of pass and nice and direct. As to be expected with a player of that age he’s a bit raw and will certainly have bigger tests than today, but he’ll improve with experience. Much like Davis on the other side, these young players needs fans to stay behind them, they’ll make mistakes but hopefully they can kick on here with the development opportunities they’ll be exposed to.

Thought Clarke was good today..... on 18:25 - Feb 18 with 641 views | BloomBlue | Not sure I would go that far, played well but not under a lot of pressure from FG. Seems to be growing into that RB position but let's not get carried away, 2 of his passes to Burns we so hard/over hit not sure Pirlo would be happy with those

Pirlo comment was OTT tongue in cheek, tbf.... But that pass he put on Hirsts toe was a peach. What a goal that would have been? You could argue that he was given a bit of time to pick his passes today. But nonetheless, I thought he executed some of them to perfection.. Almost taking up the Evans role, today, imo... And something they look like they've worked on, as oppose to too much tippy tappy.... Has to be said , though, that the movement from Hirst, Chaplin, Broadhead etc, was creating the channels for the passes to attempted. I'm not going play the, "it was "only" FGR, card"... It was a really good performance today, with some good individual shows... 6-0 would not have flattered us... Although, at times, I thought Walton did his best to scupper our clean sheet by overplaying it in a lazy manner....
