Collective raising of the bar..... 15:42 - Mar 19 with 686 viewsBigCommon

Great to see so many of our players pushing each other on, lately..It's been hard to pick an out and out MOM in most games, during this winning run. Some big players with big moments. But, generally a real core, of 7 or 8 players, in each match, that are on top of it, pushing each other to play better and stay strong, mentally..
Good to see Dom Ball get some minutes yesterday. That's one he'll of an injury he's had to come through. And his inclusion to the squad, can only add more strength in depth, quality and an experienced head to the dressing room..
I'm sure we'll see the standards keep being pushed, throughout. For me, it's infectious, in a group. Which bodes well for our remaining games.
And I'm sure the ripple effect will see us get more from one or two fringe players, too. Who may be called upon during the run in, or over the tight Easter weekend.
But the fact that there are so many players, seemingly on top of their game atm. Leaves me less concerned, should a player have to dip out now and then. We are a real team, becoming less reliant on sole individuals, imo.
And I'm happy with that.

We are at the top of our game right now. Even top scorer Chaplin, who had a really poor first half, bounced back to create the second goal and harshly had his “goal” ruled out. There’s a ruthlessness about our play and our business. JD has hardly put a foot wrong in 18 months but he’s shifted aside to make way for Clarke.

I think JD is probably better defensively but Clarke is a beast coming forward, they both have a role to play this season

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

I think Shrews tried to do A job on our 10s, yesterday.. I'd argue, both Chaplin and Broadhead, have had better games...Think this gave a bit more room for Burns/Clarke to operate.... End of the day, we are hard to contain. If teams stifle our forwards, there's still, Leif, Clarke, and yesterday Luongo, sneaking in from deep..
