I was banking on the Shrews to be a stiffer test for Barnsley, Plymouth and Wednesday in the run-in as it wasn’t long ago that they had an outside chance of the playoffs themselves but after we beat them, they seem to be complete pants losing 6-0 and 0-3. Can we hope for a resurgence from them or will they just be cannon fodder?

This is why mid table teams with nothing to play for are generally “easier” than playing resurgent teams fighting at the bottom.

Stanley have drawn 4 of their last 6 on the road and Burton have won 4 of their last 6 at home. Cannot see Wendies taking 6 points from those 2 games. 3 or 2 more likely.

Think we put the final nail in their play off push..
With nothing to play for, league wise, probably quite hard for a manager to motivate an extra few percent from his players...
Let's hope that their pride kicks in, and they might put up more of a fight in one or two matches..They can be a difficult opponent when they're on it... |  | | |
