I'm sorry for venting on here at half time. Abysmal was an over reaction to the first half, though agree with those who said we were poor. I shouldn't post in the heat of the moment, however, but will I be able to do anything else? I hope so, for my own sanity, and everyone else's... Overall a typical gritty game promoted teams somehow manage to win, which we did. Even with Hirst on the pitch our attack did not click at all this evening but the key at this stage of the season is the three points. So, some interesting notes, all based on the league... - Tonight was the first time we won a game after failing to score in the first half since Derby at home on 21st October. - Tonight was the first time we won after going 1-0 down since Morecambe away on 8th October. - Tonight was the first time we won a game despite conceding since Peterborough at home on 10th December. - I have no idea if this is the case, but it feels like this must be the first game played where both teams have only made three subs since the switch to five subs. | |
