Away games: Anyone got any recent experience in coach or mini bus hire? 18:50 - May 10 with 675 views

Just wondered if it’s ridiculously expensive and how much hassle it is to organise as can’t find an instant quote online locally to test it out.

With trains costing so much and official club travel being less than ideal, interested to know if it’d be viable to sort something from the general Bury St. Eds area to away games.

Could it cut down on travel time by not having to go via Ipswich etc, be affordable and mean there’s enough time there for a few beers?

Probably a reason why this type of thing isn’t that common anymore though. Imagine cost and lack of regular interest being the main factors with less supporters clubs around now.

They are quite common tbf, always a couple per away game.

It’s a bit of a ball ache to organise and you can never really get a definite price until everyone is confirmed/paid.
