I can't imagine this mans pain 19:17 - Jul 21 with 630 viewsgtsb1966

and the emotions he went through when ending a life of someone who was by his side for 50+ years. When do we say suicide should be an option for anyone with a terminal
illness. If that person could ask a doctor to supply them with a tablet to end their life and end the suffering I can't see a problem. Would save cases like this. We show compassion to animals so why can't we do the same for humans.

I understand the arguments about being of a stable frame of mind to make the decision and opening up grey areas with assisted suicide etc but on the whole I do think more should be done to allow someone that choice, of course through appropriate routes etc. Have to say this instance wouldn’t on the face of it meet that definition. It’s heartbreaking nonetheless.
