Relentless pressure on ball from us 22:27 - Sep 19 with 1053 views | jasondozzell | We're great to watch with the ball but I love us without it too. Hunting in packs, ferocious press, every player willing to run and run. Clarke and Burns both recovered ball with brilliant challenges.
Relentless pressure on ball from us on 22:55 - Sep 19 with 930 views | ArnieM | Our work rate, intensity & endurance are nothing short of phenomenal aren’t they. I’m just wondering will we be able to maintain this throughout the whole season snd over busy Christmas Easter periods? The usual substitutions in 70mins enable us to maintain that high intensity and press. You could see Saints visibly wilt on 70mins and they’d already brought on a lot of their subs that made an initial impact in midfield but when we brought our subs on and continued the press the saints midfield overload looked almost redundant. VERY impressive by us.

Whatever they've done in the sports science/fitness dept over the last few years has worked. We look robust and McKenna is managing to keep our intensity whilst making changes and giving players a bit of a rest. You've got Ball, Evans, Harness etc ready to come on and biting at the leash. We must be daunting to play against.

I liked the way Harness came on. A player often seen as peripheral to the team, but KMK is seeing how he works every day. He came on, looked up to speed almost from the off, seamless subs! To think our players were getting trained by a bloke in Scotland not so long ago.
