isn't he under contract here and they would need to permission to talk?? If we haven't given this permission then he really needs to go regardless of what we all think of him as this to me shows little or no respect to the club whatsoever. From the media circus going around it does look he is playing off each club against each other until the best offer is forthcoming, sorry but again if this is true then bye bye you are not bigger than this club, if this is agent driven then he really needs to get shot of the agent if he doesn't want his reputation tarnished or his integrity questioned.
I'd love all this to be nonsense, but the quieter the club is the more this seems likely, no smoke without fire etc, if it turns out all the linked clubs go another way and he stays put here how much of that is down to his decision and not others, I don't necessarily want him here if its only because others have gone a different route, no point him being here if his eyes are elsewhere whether that's now or in a seasons time. Ashton is smart enough to know what's best for this club, and as magnificent as KM has been unless he signs a new contract quickly he has somewhat shown his hand going forwards. |  | | |  |
