Philogenie 31* on his back Philogenie beats all the full backs He's outrageous (Jean Genie) He scores and he bawls Philogenie, let yourself go Ooo, oww
Everton vs Liverpool, to be rearranged before the last round of fixtures when Liverpool have already sewn up the Premier League title and rest all their players in order to keep their close friends safe, you heard it here first. Somehow they always survive, I've written them out of the equation already.
wonder if he may come into the thinking on Sunday?? Just come back from an impressive loan spell at Chelmsford and looked stand out player in U21's before that move. With Delap likely to be rested and AAH still struggling for fitness and Buabo nowhere to be seen there are not many other options at the top end of the field, why not see if he can step up or at least show he's EFL standard.
Therefore where do we need to strengthen?? A right back looks priority to me although Axel is hopefully back soon and has proved he's good enough. Another striker to take the load of Delap and to offer something different, and a right sided attacker with Ogbene missing the season and Burns looking below the level needed. Any more?
Sorry just don't see the logic in this. It's not as if we don't have enough subs we have 9 to get enough attacking players on it ffs.
During Tuesday night's game when O'Shea went down and had to get bandaged up I thought christ whose gonna play there if he has to go off.
Sort of understand it if Tuanzebe is playing as he could move inside but the thought of Harry Clarke or Ben Johnson playing there hardly fills you with confidence when the likes of Burgess and Woolfenden have done little wrong to be left out of the 11 let alone the 20.
A centre half you could argue is more likely to get injured than most and I'd argue it seems more pointless having 2 full backs on the bench rather than one of each (cb and fb).
Just a small point that baffles me somewhat as you're only one injury away from regretting not having a specialist cb there esp if you sustain an early injury.
Even seeing a game out, an extra centre back could be very useful also??
