Indeed, but a lot of them won't be of Salah's quality, guile and experience. Perhaps more within Davis/Townsend's reach to deal with for 90+ minutes between them.

I feel the problem second half was more from midfield leaving Leif an uphill task ,Trent AA moving further up field left us out numbered with a tired Massimo strugling. [Post edited 18 Aug 2024 10:52]

I think so too and that's in no way a disrespect to Mass. I thought second half the game was crying out for someone of Phillips' quality but I can understand why KM didn't use him and it also gave Taylor a run out. Phillips' time will come. Possible starter against Fulham?
