I am sure someone has mentioned this on a thread before but one thing I think we are lacking is sufficient firepower on the bench to get back into games when we have conceded.
This was not the case last season because forward substitutions often changed games.
But this season we are competing at a much higher level, with subs who come on rarely making a difference. It hasn't helped that we have had a few injuries but in relative terms Jack Clarke coming on in the Premier League doesn't have the same impact as Sarmiento coming on in the Championship.
This is in no way meant as criticism because we just haven't had the time or money to get our squad up to the level of the teams above us we are competing with.

Insufficient firepower on the bench on 11:23 - Jan 17 with 420 views
We were missing Chapolin and Szmodics on the bench last night due to injuries. Plus we'll have Philogene in the squad. Add Hirst to the mIx and that's a lot of firepower on the bench.
