With this new buy back clause that has come into place the last few years I think we need to look very carefully at this and make sure we leave ourselves in the best possible position if his team are relegated after the following season. Make sure we can get him back at bottom dollar and also give ourselves first refusal on him.
Incidentally I think the reason Tuanzebe left is because he knew he would perform better in the Prem than he will in the Championship and kept his value up. Good shout but with Axel, I think 1, he clearly wanted to move closer to home and 2, Burnley being prudent, I don't know but I'd guess there's an extension clause their end? Either way I doubt we will see Axel in a Town shirt again but like the idea of getting Omari back. | | | |
