I know I am going to get flamed for this, but are Woolfie and Broadhead players which get are better when they are not playing than the actual impact they have when playing. They are good players don’t get me wrong, but I don’t understand the reaction on here when they are criticised and especially now when unhappiness/moves are being discussed. With Woolfie I know people are always keen to see a local lad make it at their local club, that makes sense, but he is only a solid Championship level centre back. As for Broadhead, he is without doubt a creative player, but not the match winner many seem to make out he is. He was a key member of the promotion teams but I just don’t see a place for him going forward. While he’s creative his stats for assists is disappointing and he is lacking in both speed and strength. There’s a certain romance attached to the promotion winning players which the more recent signings don’t get the benefit of. Like I said, I wait to be shot down. | |
