You can see that all the favourite teams are clunky at the moment. Us and Saints certainly are in the 'do your business late because you competing with the lower PL sides for players' camp. Maybe Blades and Foxes too? It will inevitably take a week or three to get settled after this month. The top established Champ teams Baggies, Boro, Cov etc. are inevitably more prepared as are the lesser teams Charlton, Oxford, Norwich.
Good signs of improvement today with Matusiwa digging in well albeit the link up with Taylor isn't working. Not time for Cajuste to make an impact, but those two will. Davis class, Philogene and Clarke showing good signs. Defence generally solid. And I'll say it again, Davis class.
