I get the impression that the pace, power and physicality of these new recruits, together with the like of Smodics, Chappers, Burns and Ogbene will see the slighter, more technical Clarke and Philogene used less and less.

I was tempted to make the distinction that Philogene has shown a desire to work hard, track back etc. that Clarke hasn't.
Of the two i think he offers more, but I still don't think he'll start for too much longer. Excellent option from the bench though.

Judging by his body language and faces over the last few games, Clarke doesn't strike me as the type that will fight too much for his spot. Or that he knows how in any other way than what we've seen so far. Time will tell. To each his own. Options are a plenty |  |
