Derby is massive for Clarke and Philogene 03:45 - Aug 30 with 271 views | charlie1 | By the end of the international break it is likely that Azon, Akpom, McAteer, Egeli will all be fit enough to start if they aren't already. I get the impression that the pace, power and physicality of these new recruits, together with the like of Smodics, Chappers, Burns and Ogbene will see the slighter, more technical Clarke and Philogene used less and less. I appreciate you need different players for different games and opponents but can't see Clarke and Philogene remaining starters for much longer on current form.

I was tempted to make the distinction that Philogene has shown a desire to work hard, track back etc. that Clarke hasn't. Of the two i think he offers more, but I still don't think he'll start for too much longer. Excellent option from the bench though. I just don't think Clarke is the right fit for Town.

Or that he knows how in any other way than what we've seen so far. Time will tell. To each his own. Options are a plenty
