So I just looked up the match stats to see if I was going mad.
17 shots, 7 on target, two one-ones and hitting the post, and an XG of 1.7 compared to Oxford's 1.2.
So yeah. I think people can get swayed by their anger/frustration, but with those stats you're usually winning a game, never mind losing it.
Just one of those days. I'd have thought Ipswich fans should be used to it by now!
Perhaps the main issue to come out of that (and from the eye test and stats throughout the season) is that we need some finishing practice... or as many have said, getting in a goal poacher. |  |
