When Nunez is fully fit is anyone else keen to see them both in the starting 11?
Nunez has pinned down the No 10 role, but I’d like to see Mehmeti play on the right of the three.
Although we lose out on the pace of Wes and Mcateer (and their defensive capabilities), both Nunez and Mehmeti are good enough and intelligent enough to play anywhere within the three. Our right side consistently misfires. Although Wes has been great, next season may be one too far, and neither Mcateer or Walle Egeli will have progressed enough for the Premier League. My only concern with Mehmeti would be whether he has the engine to cover defensively. However, Furlong is the best right back since Wilnis, and Neil working with Azor is a big upgrade (especially defensively) upon the midfield we’ve had since McKenna arrived. |  |
