The FA reportedly wanted to seed the top league teams in the FA Cup to help them progress to the semi finals and "strengthen commercial potential"! How any football fan could think that fair, I do not my know. It says a lot about how the FA think and how they are making football worse.

That would have been an awful thing to introduce.
I don't follow the women's game too closely, but it already feels like there is a huge gulf between the top teams and the rest, and this would just reinforce it. |  |
