Shame we didn't get three points but it is what it is. I thought their gaffer summed it up perfectly:
“What a game. Back and forth. It was an unbelievable game of football, both teams trying to press, both teams trying to play out. This is one of the best games from the Championship. This is what you like about football, trying to solve it."
Was with a Boro fan today and she made a great point about how it's so nice to watch a game like that, with both good teams fully going for it rather than low blocking and sitting in etc.
We're still in a great position, but it all teeters on Wednesday & Saturday really. 4/6 wouldn't be a disaster, but two wins should be our full focus. Anything less than four and it gets really tetchy.
Side note - for me it's a stonewall penalty, not sure how it can really be argued. You can make a case that he's gone down easily, but the defender has given the referee an easy decision. |  |
