 | Forum Thread | All this talk over a return for Gio... at 23:41 11 May 2022
Nonsense + hearsay in the first place, but for people even wanting it... Why?! He's 33 years old, hasn't played in 10 months and has a very poor record when he was playing last! Don't understand why people are hanging onto emotions of a decade old, 8 game loan spell (granted he was incredible...) But come on people. May as well give Jon Stead a ring if we're going down that avenue. |
 | Forum Thread | Difference between last summer and now at 17:56 30 Apr 2022
That feel-good factor. Last summer was clinging on to the hope that Cook knew what he was doing (which he didn't) and that we had the funds to pull us out the digs and rebuild. Despite a disaster of a season, nearly everything feels in place. A few signings and a preseason and our squad is ready. Unless anyone has anything to the contrary, of course, the reply button is there. |

Have we seen someone have a better season than him in the U23's and still not really get a look in or a debut? Has been bagging goals for fun from a midfield position. That considered and this whole KVY at CB over Baggott palaver, maybe Dyer was right after all |
 | Forum Thread | End of season lap at 17:53 27 Apr 2022
Will the 'lap of honour' still be taking place this year? If so, will you stay and salute our players? Personally would, even though this season has been somewhat of a failure, the boys deserve to go off with our full support into next season. |
 | Forum Thread | Is it time for people at 16:54 23 Apr 2022
To take off their blue tinted glasses and realise that, actually, we’re not that good for this division right now? And maybe we’re not the ‘best team in the league’ after all? |
 | Forum Thread | Spine of the side at 16:09 11 Apr 2022
For me, one of the positives to come from a disappointing season is that we definitely now have a real 'spine' to the side, which we've had previously but very much lacked quality. I think these are pretty much nailed on positions for next season (provided we won't lose anyone in the summer) GK - Walton RWB - Burns CB - Donacien CB - Woolfy CB - Edmundson LWB - ? CM - Morsy CM - Evans/Bakinson Unsure about the attacking midfielders and the striker(s) as of yet - definitely positions where we could strengthen in the summer. And LWB has to be nailed on too - if we could make the left side as good as the right we'd have a helluva threat going forward. |
 | Forum Thread | SHOOOOOOOOOOOT... at 22:16 4 Apr 2022
Is there a fanbase which shouts that more than us? Every time a centre half picks the ball up about 35 yards from goal I hear it. Does my head in! |
 | Forum Thread | Disappointing one... at 18:37 2 Apr 2022
Fair play to Cambridge though, they were excellently set up and well drilled and completely nullified us out there today. In my eyes, a surprise package for a playoff push next season. Tom Carroll was absolutely shocking though, he really slows down our play, not only by giving the ball away but with no movement off it either. Also - this trouble at the train station is getting ridiculous. Every week there's a punch up going up there! |
 | Forum Thread | Whatever happened to... at 09:46 25 Mar 2022
Kundai Benyu and Dylan Crowe? Remember Benyu coming through all promising then leaving to Celtic. Dunno what happened to him now. Crowe is a really weird one, he was high up in the England rankings (I think U20) but never seemed to kick on here. Remember him going to Leiston at one point recently? |
 | Forum Thread | We really are on our way up at 16:19 13 Mar 2022
After many years of poor ownership, poor players, dropping crowds & general decline... We've got the most exciting young n upcoming manager, playing the best football in the league with some of the best players. Financially, we are as healthy as we've been in a long time - being able to offer Championship salaries. Fans are coming back in their thousands, 25k yesterday for a game not even part of PackOutPR. Meanwhile those Narfalk boys are in turmoil over their own ownership & ambition... And I love it. And I love this club again. |
 | Forum Thread | The one negative I can pick from last night... at 09:55 9 Mar 2022
The atmosphere! Considering how well we played and the fact we were 2-0 up inside 33 minutes, would've expected a lot better. For large parts of the game you could've heard a pin drop in PR. The group of hearty lads in the SAR stand outsung the SBR for half the game... |
 | Forum Thread | Crazy how long ago this stuff feels... at 20:25 1 Mar 2022
Just a year ago today, we had Evans in charge, O'Neill speaking to the press and Lambert only just having left! Mental how long ago all that stuff feels. If we don't sneak in them playoff's this season, we're gonna make a great go of next season. Club really is in so much of a better place. |
 | Forum Thread | ITFC's right-hand side right now! at 21:07 21 Feb 2022
Think it's really interesting. Burns does track back, but is essentially playing as a right midfielder, with JD almost playing as a CB and a RB at the same time. JD then also converts to an overlapping fullback in attack, but never seems to be caught out of position on the counter. It's a massive credit to him, really. JD x WB down the right is immense. Don't think we've had such a good partnership since Murphy x Sears. |
 | Forum Thread | I would genuinely stick with Jackson... at 22:29 13 Feb 2022
He's growing in confidence. A goal would do him the world of good in the coming weeks. Must be so refreshing for him to have a manager who believes in him & coaching staff who can improve him. JD's resurgence is a prime example of why you never write off a player. He could potentially do the same. KJ did very well on MK, his best performance in a while. Only 2 seasons ago he scored the same amount and assisted more than Norwood in this division. |
 | Forum Thread | Anyone else think we need some new songs? at 15:18 13 Feb 2022
I actually thought yesterday's atmosphere could've been a lot better with how many we took, and I mainly think that's down to a lack of decent songs we've got. You hear about 5 renditions of 'Allez, Allez', a couple 'Hark Now Hear', 'Blue Army' and maybe an Alley Alley Ally Oooooo if you're lucky Our chants for individual players are pretty standard and boring (i.e Macauley Bonne, he's one of our own) Even in the Championship days I remember we sung Edward Ebeneezer quite a bit. |
 | Forum Thread | Walton, JD and Pigott at 23:09 12 Feb 2022
Not anything serious just a good story from a good away day. Those 3 were on the train back to Euston from MKC after the game today. Spent it chatting to them and some fellow Town fans. Top class bunch of professionals and genuine nice guys. Refused my offer of a Moretti, mind. JD says he’s more of a cider man. |
