We made Southampton look rather ordinary 23:19 - Apr 28 with 219 viewsTrequartista

I thought we were the better side, and ended up with the majority of the best chances, but when Southampton were on top we frustratingly gave the ball away in dangerous areas when simple passes were on and conceded twice during their strong period. Cajuste's introduction was baffling although he did ok, but why has he not been used for weeks (Akpom even ahead of him in midfield at Pompey) and suddenly appears as an attacking midfielder? I had assumed one more appearance took him onto a permanent transfer but seemingly not.

So close to glory and we *should* get over the line against QPR, but I can't help thinking had we attacked the WBA game like we did tonight and went for three points, we'd now be there. Let's hope it's all academic on Saturday.
