So I've had this subject thrust upon me by the recent posts about ex managers (John Lyall in particular) and the Golden Age of TV thread.
I don't think I can bear three months of "who should we sign," so I want to start a nostalgia thread about anything people come across on the internet which takes them back to a time when everything seemed "better" and the possibilities were endlessly optimistic.
I just bought a tabletop game on eBay called Munchman. Was a cheap knock off of Pacman and was one of the tabletop arcade games we could afford at that time. Grabbed a programme with Ian Redford on the front a few weeks ago, and am currently enjoying re-runs of the Six Million Dollar Man on Legend.
Does anyone remember buying a can of Quatro from the corner shop for 20p? Breakdancing in the middle of Ipswich Town Centre on a piece of lino, accompanied by a boombox.
Ebay seems to be a place to recapture some of those memories. Last year I bought some Look-In annuals - forgot there was a Space 1999 comic strip.
