I had absolutely no faith that the independent committee would have the balls to deliver such a huge decision. We've had so many clubs slither through sanctions relatively unscathed.

This is a very good day for football. If this charge sticks, the precedent it sets makes it very precarious for any other club thinking of cheating in this manner.

Fingers crossed the appeal won't hold any ground.
