According to stats we are the 3rd best home team in the league 11:38 - Dec 17 with 680 views

And we’re only behind Cardiff and Wolves respectively. However, we’re 11th in the table for away performances.

If Mick stops trying to play for 0-0 or 0-1 away performances then I don’t see why we shouldn’t be in the playoffs. However performances such as Middlesbrough and Villa are the reason why I go into most away games expecting to lose.

We've only drawn one game away from home and we're scoring a decent number away too.

From watching these games I reckon that we first and foremost need to tighten up away from home and at times get players behind the ball to frustrate the opposition. Which we haven't done enough.

Derby away was a blueprint for how we can and should play, certainly against our promotion rivals.
