We are obviously short in that area, Southgate's decision to drop Winks from the squad has proved to be a mistake however the reasons are understandable (Returning from injury and CL final)
With Delph again I can understand why he's there, he's a apparently a great character to have around the squad, also he played very well as we beat Croatia in November, so Southgate's sticking with someone who's done well for him before (and helped us get to this stage)
With the CL final I also expected Foden to be called up for the first time, maybe it was still too early for him... |  |
