Genuinely struggling to understand Lamberts approach now.

If I take the positive...then a midfield comprising Dozzell and Downes starting is great to see but without Skuse...you can see why it's problematic. Doz has the potential to pick that ball up deep from the back four and help play out and Downes has the potential to be the ball winner that can still play.

Time to persevere with these two. Nolan and Judge are offering nothing over and above.

That said, Lambert is right...as a team we are too soft...too nice. Even our fans moan about other teams time wasting...f*ck that. Let's play football but that doesn't mean we can't have some bite and attitude.

Defensively we are lost...without KVY we, again, look unbalanced and it is causing us big problems as a result.

Our keeper situation is odd and frankly alarming how Lamberts insists on chopping and changing that key position. It's either Norris or Holy...frankly I dont care but the back four would benefit in being able to develop a proper understanding with a keeper.

4th...now then....would we have taken that at Xmas at the start of the season. Yes. But....

Now look at 4thgiven the excellent start we had and now a major drop off in form....it's not good enough is it.
