Missing football now 14:50 - Apr 22 with 408 viewsChutney

Not the glitz and glamour of the Premier League particularly, or the 90 minutes itself, but the social side as much as anything else. I think I have a greater appreciation for a number of things now, not least the enjoyment I get from watching football with friends, the train beers, the pre match excitement and smell of a football ground, the feeling when we score a crucial goal, the sense of pride. It really matters not what league we're in, nor the result really, but I really do miss the whole, wider piece.

We'll meet again.

Totally with you on that one.
Pre match beers with friends at the Wolsey and a pint of Brewers Gold. You used to be able to get it in my local Waitrose but sadly no more.
